Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy, born June 13, 1962 in America, is an actress. In 1983, following her film debut Bad Boys, Sheedy became one of the Brat pack consisting of actors. She starred in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985), Short Circuit (1986) as well as WarGames. Sheedy received an Independent Spirit Award in 1998 as the most outstanding female leading role. This was due to her performance as Lisa Cholodenko in High Art. Ally Sheedy's is both an American actor and a writer. Her film career began early in the 1980s with the film based on a crime drama Bad Boys, for which she received a lot of applause. Rick Rosenthal directed the movie that also featured a number of famous actor Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. Her first success led her to be a part of The Breakfast Club, a comedy-drama from 1985. John Hughes directed one of greatest films for high schools. It was produced for just $1,000,000, but the film made in excess of 50 million dollars. Meanwhile she had also started appearing in various TV shows including CBS Schoolbreak which was her TV debut. It was a program for teenagers that started airing in April of 1980. Other shows on TV she was in include Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues. Recent appearances include Little Sister, a film about a super hero where Sheedy is an appearance in a minor role. Sheedy has been recognized for her extraordinary performance, has won numerous awards. Sheedy was awarded the MTV Movie Awards' Gold Bucket of Excellence Award 2005.
