Felicity Jones is a native of Britain and is most well-known as the actress who played Jane Hawking on the critically-acclaimed film The Theory of Everything. Jones has been in theatre, film and TV from the age of 12. Her career began with the TV film The Treasure Seekers. Later, in The Worst Witch she played Ethel Hallow. Then came Weirdsistersisters Sisters, a sequel of The Worst Witch. In her film debut Flashbacks of a Fool she was Young Ruth and went on to appear in a variety of films. The most notable of these was The Invisible Woman & The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in particular, she made a name for herself in her role. The role she played as the wife of Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything earned her an Oscar nod for the first time. Jones was widely praised by critics and fans for her performance in the role of Hawking's former wife. The film was based on the life story of Stephen Hawking. Inferno with Tom Hanks was next on her resume. In 2016 The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles announced Jones as the British Artist of The Year for her talent and contributions to cinema.
