Annie Mist Thorisdottir hails from Iceland's Reykjavik. She also is the founder of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it also. Annie has the distinction of being only one woman in history to have won in the CrossFit Games two times. Her second place was both in 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir, an Icelandic weightlifter, is also an Icelandic CrossFit athlete as well as a popular media personality. She was the first female to win the CrossFit Games in 2011, and 2012, twice. Other accomplishments include securing Dubai Fitness Championships in 2017 and 2013. Annie and her parents as well as her siblings, were born and brought up within Reykjavik Iceland. She was a keen sportsperson and started working out at when she was a young age. The year 2009 saw Annie Thorisdottir competed in the CrossFit competition in California. Annie Thorisdottir has 31 years of age (as in 2021). She stands at 5'7" and she weighs approximately 67kg. Annie began CrossFit in California 2009. She was successful in her initial competitions, placing with the top 10. She was not able to claim any titles and ended up 11th in the final ranking. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. The same year, under Jami's coaching she won the silver medal in the CrossFit Games. As a result of her exceptional performances, she was able to claim her first CrossFit Games title and become the first female CrossFit Games winner. In 2012 Annie again won her first CrossFit Games because of her outstanding performance. In addition, she became the first woman athlete to win the two CrossFit Games consecutively. In addition, in 2014 she took home a silver award and in the year 2021 she won bronze in CrossFit Games. Annie is currently a coach and trainer for Crossfit Reykjavik, which she created. Annie's rising fame as an athlete has made her the model for a variety of sporting brands, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Periodization Nuunhydration-Sidekick Yerb. Aside from that, she owns a self-titled Youtube channel with a few thousand viewers where her diet videos, family and travel vlogs are uploaded.
