Cassandra Monique Batie, professionally known professionally as Andra day, is an American R&B musician and singer. Her awards include the Grammy Award, Children's and Family Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award are among the many accolades she has been awarded. She has also been selected for the Academy Award. Andra is not only the throwback R&B performer, but her gospel jazz roots and blues are displayed in a way that's both easy and stylish. As a child within San Diego and surrounding areas, she began performing in church and enrolled to the School of Creative and Performing Arts. As she neared graduation, she began to explore R&B/pop, but was ultimately drawn back by the soul and jazz vocalists of the past. An important break occurred in the form of a concert she gave was spotted by Kai Millard Morris who subsequently brought some of Day's music to husband Stevie Wonder. The United States vs. Billie Holiday, a concept-album that chronicles the legendary jazz artist's life was released in 2019. That same year she starred in a biopic about Holiday's life The United States vs. Billie Holiday (2021). Andi Matichak has a reputation as an American actor. She debuted in the movie Halloween as Allyson and was later seen in several television shows including Orange Is the New Black (Orange Is the New Black), Park Avenue (666 Park Avenue (666 Park Avenue) and Blue Bloods and Orange Is the new black. Andi Mattichak was born the 3rd May 1994 in Framingham Mass.
